Backstage…
The show cuts backstage to where Delaney Lukas is walking through the corridors towards the ringside area. But suddenly she finds herself doubled over as a baseball bat slams into her midsection! The Jester steps out from behind the corner as she slams Priscilla down across Delaney’s back!
The Jester tells her that she’s had this coming since the first day of SCCW, and she knew her patience would pay off. Ben Hanson arrives on the scene to run off The Jester, before he asks Delaney if she wants to continue with her upcoming match. To her credit, the plucky young does want to continue!
Singles Match
Delaney Lukas vs. Harper Hill
Delaney fought valiantly to try and get back into the match after that attack moments before the start, but Harper Hill worked over the midsection and back with a series of slams and backbreakers to try and get the early victory. But Delaney kept kicking out at two. Around the fourth minute Harper slowed things down, applying a front facelock on the mat.
From there, Delaney was able to fight back to her feet before pushing her opponent away. Harper tried for a lariat, but Delaney ducked that and countered with a jumping neckbreaker. That opened the way for the underdog to get her second wind as she managed to follow up soon after with a slingshot DDT. But then it was Harper’s turn to kick out at two.
Lukas pressed her advantage into the sixth minute, when Harper dodged a running clothesline, and Delaney slammed into the corner chest first. A springboard tornado DDT drilled Lukas head first into the mat and the end was in sight for Harper Hill. She dragged Delaney back to her feet and proceeded to hit the Poppy Plunge (Ripcord Jumping Neckbreaker) for the three count.
Winner: Harper Hill (6:22)
After the match, Harper Hill grabbed from outside the ring and proceeded to re-enter the ring, where she slammed the weapon down across Delaney’s back several times. The crowd were booing loudly as Harper reared back for another shot, telling Lukas that she had this coming…
When the lights went out!
The sound of thunder echoed throughout the arena before the lights came back on and ‘The Storm Bearer’ Thunderbelly was standing in the ring behind Harper Hill! The cheers alerted her to his presence, but as she spun around, Thunderbelly scooped Harper up for Forseti's Axe (Axe Guillotine Driver)! He dropped her head first in the center of the ring to a loud cheer from the Lewes crowd, and Ryan Savage’s loud proclamation that “Thunderbelly is here in SCCW!”
The masked man helped Delaney backstage before Harper recovered, glaring after them as the show cut backstage again.
Backstage…
Claire James was standing with Zoe Dupont, who’s still fuming about what transpired earlier tonight. She vows that in two weeks time, at Emergence, she’ll show the SCCW fans that Betty doesn’t have the moves to keep up with someone like Zoe Dupont! She proclaims herself to be in top physical shape, having spent years honing herself while Betty was probably locked in a basement somewhere, playing Dungeons & Dragons with other geeks.
Singles Match
D.J. Ronie vs. Rocky Rhodes
Unfortunately the match never got started, as Cainitigern attacked Rocky Rhodes during his entrance. She called out to him, which caused Rocky to spin around, before Caintigern launched herself at him with the Brass Magnum (Superman Punch) like she had to Velma Jones earlier tonight!
The backstage staff are quick to break up the fight this time, dragging Caintigern away back up the aisle as D.J. Ronie can only look on in amazement at the scene unfolding before him.
Winner: No Contest (0:00)
Unfortunately for Ronie, he wasn’t about to get off scot free this evening. The lights went out in the Henlopen High School gymnasium for the second time tonight, except when they came back up this time, Brutus was standing in the ring behind D.J. Ronie. Not even the crowd’s earning could save him, as Ronie turned around and immediately got grabbed by the throat. Brutus lifted up the man he’ll face for the SCCW Championship in two weeks time up in the air for a chokeslam…
But Ronie escaped his clutches! The crowd cheered loudly as Ronie spun around the back and leapt up to catch Brutus with a jumping neckbreaker! His brother, Jimmy Jam, couldn’t believe what was happening as D.J. Ronie waited for the demon to get back to his feet. Punches and kicks were flying everywhere as Brutus found himself on the backfoot, before a clothesline sent the big man over the top rope – only to see him land on his feet.
The two men kept their stares locked on one another as the crowd cheered them on; the hundred plus fans wanting to see Brutus and D.J. Ronie go at it – when Brutus makes a motion towards the ring! He places one knee on the apron as he grabs hold of the top rope to pull himself up – NO! A baseball bat slams into the back of Brutus! The Jester ran down the aisle when Brutus wasn’t looking, and caught him by surprise. The second baseball bat shot rocks Brutus again as he falls forward through the ropes. The Jester throws a chair into the ring and slides in after it, as D.J. Ronie plants a rising Brutus with a DDT onto the chair! The Jester climbs to the top rope as Brutus begins to already stir. He gets up to one knee, then to his feet, albeit in a double over position as The Jester leaps off with a scissor kick to the back of Brutus’ head!
Singles Match
Brutus vs. The Jester
Brutus rolls over onto his back after hitting the chair head first again, and The Jester orders the referee to call for the bell. This match is underway, and immediately The Jester hooks the leg!
Only a two count!
D.J. Ronie sat with his brother and Ryan Savage at the commentary table to watch this one as The Jester managed to hit Brutus with a wheelbarrow bulldog after some punches and kicks failed to do much damage. She went for another cover, but again could only get a two count. The Jester continued to throw everything she had at the big man; a DDT, a bulldog, and a running knee lift all connected as she realized she had difficulty lifting Brutus up.
But nothing seemed to keep Brutus down. The Jester’s advantage managed to last until the fourth minute, when finally Brutus some offense; a back body drop caught the charging Jester high into the air, where she nearly hit one of the low hanging lights. A gorilla press slam by Brutus sent Jester over the top rope soon after, where she landed on top of D.J. Ronie.
Brutus took a moment to shake off the chair shots he suffered a few moments earlier before leaving the ring to fetch The Jester – but not without firing off a shot at Ronie. Some headbutts forced The Jester back towards the ring, before Brutus threw her into the ring over the top rope with another gorilla press slam. He went for the cover, but could only get a two count.
Brutus proceeded to dominate for a couple of minutes; he choked The Jester out while she was down, peppered her with elbows while she was in the corner, and put all three hundred pounds behind it when he hit a running splash in the corner too. But still he couldn’t put The Jester down for the three count.
That’s when D.J. Ronie caught the demon’s attention again. Brutus was standing near the ropes as he stared down at Ronie at the commentary table, and made a cutthroat gesture – when The Jester hit him with a low blow from behind! And somehow, this new referee SCCW recently hired didn’t manage to see it – somehow! Again, The Jester went up top before leaping off with an axhandle smash – only to get caught by the throat, before being planted by a choke slam!
The match ticked into the tenth minute as Brutus scooped The Jester off the mat for a deadlift powerslam. And another. After that one, he pinned her with one hand on her chest as Brutus kept his eyes locked on D.J. Ronie, as the referee counted the three.
Winner: Brutus (9:39)
Backstage…
Claire James is standing by with Betty Black, who seems to be ready to respond to what Zoe Dupont said earlier. She doesn’t deny that Zoe is in great shape, but that won’t be enough to save her come Emergence. Because when Zoe wants to try and attack the geek that stands before her, she’ll end up rolling a one…

Tag Team Match
The Caffiends vs. Adam & Chino
Adam & Chino started the match off hot! They remembered what happened on the last show when Adam got screwed in his match against Sullivan Pibb, and the beatdown that ensued afterwards! Chino used his quick strikes to keep Dewey Dresden off balance in the first minute, before a mule kick doubled the veteran over and a running knee lift took him down. But Chino was only able to get a one count.
Adam got the tag in and he targeted the legs of Dewey Dresden; a few elbow drops, a spinning toe hold, a chopblock. But the momentum shifted when Sullivan Pibb drove a knee into the back of Dragomirov as he ran against the ropes! With his back facing the legal man, Adam was caught by a Russian legsweep that let Dewey get a two count.
The Caffiends took control after that. Pibb used his experience advantage to his benefit as he hit Adam with belly-to-belly and snap suplexes out of seemingly nowhere. The fifth minute rolled around when Dragomirov found himself on the receiving end of an inverted atomic drop/bulldog combo, but he kicked out at two as Pibb covered.
The seventh minute rolled around and Dresden hit Adam with a huge spear, before he went for a cover. But Chino broke it up at the count of two. Pibb stormed the ring as well, but Chino was able to side step him and send Sullivan tumbling over the top rope with just his own momentum, before Dewey turned his attention to him as well. But the numbers game worked against Dewey as he soon found himself on the receiving end of a hiptoss/running knee lift combo by Adam & Chino!
They couldn’t get the three count, though, so Chino quickly got tagged in. The fresh man hit Dewey with a corner cartwheel back elbow, followed by a bulldog. He knocked Sullivan Pibb off the apron before going for a cover, but again The Caffiends kicked out at two. Chino took Pibb out of action momentarily as, when he saw Pibb grabbing a chair on the outside, he caught Sullivan with a baseball slide that sent the chair crashing into his face. Unfortunately for him, Dewey began to fight back.
Dresden hit Hills with the Code Red (cobra clutch backbreaker) after a short scuffle, but Adam made the save. Shortly thereafter, Adam hit a dropkick that sent Dewey into the referee. Not as hard as the referee’s tumble might have you believe, but the official was down as Adam Dragomirov landed a bulldog across the knee of Chino Hills! But the referee wasn’t there to count!
On commentary, Jimmy Jam noted the referee went down as easy as a two dollar whore, but all this just allowed Sullivan to slide back into the ring with a steel chair in hand. He levelled Dragomirov from behind, before laying out Chino Hills with a chair shot to the face. The Caffiends combined to perform the Live Wire Ride (Powerbomb (Dresden) / Neckbreaker (Pibb) combination) and Dresden hooked a leg. Miraculously the referee began to stir shortly beforehand, and was on hand to count the three!
Winners: The Caffiends (10:27)
After the match The Caffiends were each celebrating on opposite corners when, behind them, Adam & Chino began to recover. Irate with the officiating once again, Adam & Chino decided to take matter into their own hands as they grabbed the steel chair in hand, and slammed it into the back of Sullivan Pibb!
Dresden turned to see what just happened, and he bailed out of the ring as Adam & Chino planted Sullivan head first into the chair with a double DDT. The show came to a close as they stared out of the ring at Dewey Dresden, making a title belt motion around their waists all the while.
