In The Ring...
Fugazi’s “Waiting Room” hits and from the back comes the angry man mountain Rocky Rhodes. His hair drips wet onto his Suicidal Tendancies t-shirt and he briskly stomps down to the ring and demands a mic.
“Ladies and gentleman of Delaware I'm Rocky Rhodes and I'm here to tell you all that you need to forget everything you ever knew about the wrestling bidness. I am the future of professional wrestling. I am the present of professional wrestling and my present to you is to present myself here to tell you that I am the present and if you don't like it then you can just shut up your stupid faces.”
The crowd react as to be expected and boo but Rocky doesn't seem to even hear them.
“Tonight you are going to see me do what i do best and that is bring the whooping to my opponents and leave them flat out on their backs in the ring like a cheap Thai hooker. And speaking of hookers I don't even know who these assclowns are. DJ Ronie? Wikki wikki-”
Rocky makes air DJ motions.
“I'll strangle you with your damn headphones and then break a turntable in your ass when I beat. Not even when I beat you but before i beat you cause I'm Rocky Rhodes and I am the future and the present!”
Rocky walks to the middle of the camera side of the ring and leans on the ropes.
“And Alika Gray? I don't even know how to say your stupid ass name - and I don't even care to want- care to learn your way to say your name. Alika Pink more than Alika Gray because dead women don't move much. Bring these clowns out and ring the bell.”
And with that Rocky drops the mic.
Triple Threat Match
D.J Ronie vs. Alika Gray vs. Rocky Rhodes
The commentators were quick to remind the fans about Rhodes’ experience advantage in this match, which quickly became apparent as he manhandled the rookies with various slams and strikes. A cactus clothesline took Rocky and Alika over the top rope in the third minute, and the match opened up after that.
Rhodes appeared to hit his head on the way down, which allowed Gray to prop the veteran up against the ring and unleash a series of knife edge chops to the chest. Gray moved out of the way, however, as Ronie flew out under the bottom rope with a baseball slide to the back of Rocky Rhodes. The big man flew forward into the guard rail, but was soon rolled back into the ring.
Ronie and Gray double teamed the veteran, hitting an inverted atomic drop/clothesline combo and a double suplex. But much like the last match, the alliance only lasted until a pin attempt. The two rookies grappled and it was Gray who gained the upper hand as he pushed the smaller Ronie towards the corner, where he unleashed more knife edge chops. On commentary, Jimmy Jam noted that his brother could probably do with some painkillers to take the edge off – if only he wasn’t straight edge!
In the fifth minute, Ronie got the upper hand over Alika as he countered an Irish whip into a ripcord jumping neckbreaker. But the pin attempt only lasted until Rocky recovered and broke it up. He took it upon himself to drive D.J. into the mat with a fall forward slam, before following up with a running leg drop. But he didn’t go for the cover, and instead threw Ronie out of the ring and turned his attention to Alika Gray.
The match ticked into the seventh minute as Rhodes continued wailing on Alika Gray with what can only be described as stiff shots. The rookie’s chest was lit up after some clotheslines in the corner, and his backed ached after a side slam. But the pin attempt was interrupted by D.J. Ronie who dived in with an elbow drop.
Alika Gray got the upper hand in the ninth minute as his opponents were battling in the corner; Gray charged in with an avalanche attack that pushed Rhodes into Ronie, and it appeared to cause them to hit heads too. Rhodes staggered out in a daze, right into The Legacy (Short-Arm Lariat/Rainmaker). He went for the cover, but Ronie broke it up at two. He pulled Gray back to his feet and a performed the sitout cross legged slam. Ronie went for the cover, but Rhodes interrupted it as he deadlifted Ronie up and hit the Steamroller (inverted front powerslam) that dropped Ronie down across Gray. The veteran, who the commentator’s noted may not be all there in the head, moved to the ropes to taunt the fans as the referee had no choice but to count the inadvertent pin by D.J. Ronie.
Winner: D.J. Ronie (10:56)
After the match, Rocky Rhodes noticed what had happened and promptly hit D.J. Ronie with another Steamroller before leaving the ring in a fit of rage. He knocked over the ring steps on the way, which only increased the amount of boos Rhodes received from the Georgetown crowd.

Backstage, interviewer Claire James is standing with Delaney Lukas. Delaney comments before the interview starts that she looks as great as ever. Claire smiles and responds in kind as the two wink at each other. The interview starts off and Claire asks Delaney her thoughts on her first main event. Delaney goes on to speak about how honored she is to be a part of the second ever Slams main event. She says that she has been working hard the past two weeks and hopes to ensure the main event is the match of the night. Claire asks her if she has any predictions. Delaney just says that she knows it’s going to be a hard fought contest, but she has full belief in her hard work lately and that if she executes the moves she learns it’ll pay off for her. Win or lose, she’ll be learning a lot and will go on to win later if she didn’t manage to do that night what she knew she was capable of.
Walking in from the side angle of the camera is Harper Hill. She walks up putting an arm around Delaney before she squirms out of it putting her hands on her hips and staring at Harper. Harper says that there's no need for the two to not be civil. She mentions she’s just there to wish Delaney luck in her first main event match, hoping for her that it goes better than Harper’s did.
Delaney looks a little surprised. She then says that she is sure that she gave all she had to training the past few weeks, so the only way things could go badly was if Harper and Jester managed to show up as they had been hinting at the past two weeks. Harper feigns surprise. She then goes on to say that she hopes that Delaney didn’t take her seriously. She may come out and sit ringside to watch, but she meant no harm. There’d be nothing to gain from doing anything dastardly. She does go on to say that she couldn’t say the same for Jester. Harper says good luck before she walks out of the camera focus. Delaney tries to get a read on Harper as she walks away before nodding at Claire and telling her she’ll see her after the main event.
Singles Match
Brutus vs. The Dylcox
The match started as both men collided in the middle of the ring; Brutus and Dylcox traded blows until Brutus gained the upper hand and forced Dylcox back into the corner. Brutus managed to overpower his opponent and hit a charging splash in the corner, but Dylcox kicked out at two.
Walcox did manage to turn the tables in the third minute when he hit a flying shoulderblock off an Irish whip. He followed up with a flurry; a series of hiptosses, a vertical suplex, and a running splash, but still Brutus kicked out at two. Commentator, Ryan Savage, noted the athleticism being shown by Dylcox, especially for a man his size, and laughed when Dylcox slapped his belly before the running splash.
Dilbert managed to hit a sitout cross legged slam in the sixth minute, but Brutus powered out at two and sat right back up, much to the surprise of his opponent. Dylcox charged at his opponent when both men reached their vertical bases, but Brutus countered with a big boot. He mounted his opponent and drilled Dylcox with some elbows to the head afterwards until the referee intervened. The pin attempt only got a two count though.
Brutus waited for his opponent to get back to his feet and promptly hit a running powerslam for the three count.
Winner: Brutus (8:02)
After the match, however, The Lincoln Bros reappeared and flanked the ring while Brutus was still in there. Sam made the first move and charged at the demon, but Brutus caught him with a clothesline. Dean tried next, jumping up on Brutus’ back – only to get thrown over the shoulder.
That’s when Sam recovered and threw what appeared to be salt in Brutus’ face…
To no reaction. The big man looked away for a second to clean his eyes, and when he fixed that problem The Lincoln Bros had already bailed from the ring. Brutus made his way backstage to chase after them soon after.
Backstage...
The show cut backstage to the office of Ben Hanson, where he is once again admonishing The Jester for her after match attack on Micah Monroe earlier tonight.
She protests, saying Rocky Rhodes did the same thing. But Ben tells her that he'll be talking to Rocky later. He then explains that he hopes Jester won't do this again, but to help her learn her lesson, he's making a match for the next show where Jester will be taking on someone who debuted earlier tonight, Sarah Campbell.
MAIN EVENT
Singles Match
Delaney Lukas vs. Velma Jones
The match started with a handshake between the two before the locked up collar and elbow. Jones was able to gain the upper hand in the early goings, using her slight size advantage to over power Delaney. This led to some knife edge chops in the corner and a bulldog that sent Lukas face first into the mat. But the pin attempt only got a one count.
Delaney got back into the match in the third minute after she was whipped towards the corner. Velma charged in after her, only to get caught by a big boot! A series of clothesline ensued, with Velma getting back up after each one, before Delaney hit a snapmare and a basement calf kick. She covered, but also only got a one count.
Lukas pressed the advantage into the fifth minute as the match as she attempted a ripcord jumping neckbreaker – NO! Velma countered with a go behind, and locked Delaney in the bridging inverted chinlock out of nowhere! Ryan Savage noted that Velma has been practising that move for two weeks and was eager to show it off, and it looked like Delaney was ready to tap out to it! Fortunately for everyone in attendance the match got to continue as Delaney reached the ropes after nearly fifteen seconds.
Velma struggled to get the crowd on her side as she maintained the upper hand, with a large contingent of the SCCW fans being Delaney Lukas fans at the moment. But she didn’t let it get her down as she hit Lukas with a series of snap suplexes. Jones tried to wear her opponent with a chinlock, but it looked like Lukas was getting ready to break free of that as she stood back up. Some back elbows were thrown that caught Jones in the face, and Lukas ran against the ropes – only to get caught by a dropkick! But the pin attempt only got a two count.
As the match ticked into the eighth minute, Delaney Lukas found a way back into it as she ducked under a clothesline attempt and countered with a jumping neckbreaker. Both competitors were down for a moment, and the crowd began to boo as Harper Hill and The Jester appeared at the top of the aisle.
They quickly caught Delaney’s attention as she shouted up at them to leave the area, before a dazed Velma Jones rolled her up with a schoolboy!
Only for a two count though! Delaney scrambled back to her feet and shot off a roundhouse kick that caught Velma flush in the temple. She fell to the mat, and Delaney was able to get a three count.
Winner: Delaney Lukas (9:40)
After the match, Harper and Jester made their way down the aisle and attacked Delaney; the pair of them were able to get her on the mat with some punches and stomps before Velma recovered. She knocked Harper down with a clothesline, but The Jester caught Velma with a belly to belly suplex!
The crowd were booing loudly as Harper and The Jester attacked Velma too, but those boos turned to cheers as newcomer Sarah Campbell ran down to the ring. She caught The Jester with a vicious looking clothesline, and Harper bailed out under the bottom rope, dragging The Jester with her as Sarah Campbell helped both Delaney and Velma to their feet. The show came to an end with the five of them staring each other down from the ring and the top of the aisle.
