[• Steven]: ”Hey son, how are you feeling?”
As soon as Levi walked in the back door and into the kitchen, he sees his father cooking something while immediately greeting him with a smile. Levi, who has been working out harder than ever is a sweaty mess as he just finished a long run.
[• Levi]: ”I’m feeling really good pops, just been training harder than ever, especially since I just signed to another company earlier today.”
Immediately looking away from the large pot of whatever is cooking, Steven, his father looks surprised but in a really good way.
[• Steven]: ”Really? Please, tell me about it and where!”
Pulling out a seat and taking it at the table, Levi joins his father after grabbing an ice cold bottle of water from out of the refrigerator.
[• Levi]: ”Well it’s located in Southern Delaware and ran by a former FGA World Champion so you know it has the backing and reputation behind it. Other than that, I reached out to them, you know? I’m looking to get my foot in the door, to build a legacy and I think I’m off to a great start.
I get the spotlight and television time with the FIW and I get to further hone my craft and learn more with the SCCW.”
Listening to his son, Steven is really proud of him and you can see it by the grin that he has expressed.
[• Steven]: ”Always remember, you will NEVER know everything. Even twenty Year legends of the sport still have something to learn so always try to hone your craft because you will never perfect it, you know what I’m saying?”
Listening to his father, he nods his head and takes in every piece of advice that he can get.
[• Levi]: ”Yes sir! I know that I’ll never perfect my craft and I’m okay with that because it’ll always give me something to strive for.”
Rising to his feet as he has to check on the food, he leans forward and pats his son on the back, definitely proud of the man he has become.
[• Steven]: ”That's something your grandfather and I never forgot and it really helped us out. You keep that mentality and that humility and let me tell you something, nobody will stop you from being a success.”
Walking back over to the pot of food, Steven adds some herbs and spices to it as Levi sits there feeling really good right now. Everything is going good for him and his wrestling career is about to take off, he can just feel it.
