Goro and Blake were standing together, getting ready for their upcoming tag match. She tried to motivate the Japanese wrestler, but the language barrier seemed to get in the way. As she asked if they were going to be on the same page tonight despite being opponents at Vindication in the triple threat match for the Rising Star title, Goro just answered in Japanese. Blake stared at him blankly and gave up, walking away towards ringside as Goro said something else in Japanese. He walked away in the same direction as Blake did and the show cut back to ringside.
Tag Team Match
Goro Matsunaga & Blake Belladonna vs. Ricky Vega & Charlie Blooms
Unsurprisingly the more experienced tag team of Ricky Vega & Charlie Blooms managed to gain the early advantage as they isolated Blake Belladonna. Quick tags and cutting the ring in half allowed Charlie to come close with a tiger bomb in the third bomb, but Blake kicked out. Ricky scored a two count off a fireman carry facebuster, but again Blake kicked out in time.
The fifth minute rolled around and Belladonna finally created an opening; Charlie charged at her, only for Blake to counter with a pop-up Gory bomb! Blooms tried to stay in it, but a missed clothesline attempt lead to Blake hitting a tornado DDT before she could tag in Goro! The young Japanese wrestler entered the ring like a house on fire, taking Charlie down with a diving shoulderblock, before Ricky got caught with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.
Matsunaga continued, taking Vega down with some rolling gutwrench suplexes. Charlie stepped up, but got took down by a folding powerbomb as Goro looked set to finish it off – when Blake tagged herself in. She went for the cover on Charlie, but only got a two count before the argument started. Goro and Blake still struggled with the language barrier as they argued, before Ricky and Charlie recovered and grabbed some chairs from ringside. They took their opponents down with shots from behind as the referee called for the bell!
Winners: Goro Matsunaga & Blake Belladonna (7:49)
The attack continued after the match, with Ricky and Charlie wailing away with chairs – until Melody Marshall appeared with a chair of her own! For some reason, Ricky & Charlie bailed form the ring as the Rising Star champion stood tall over the two competitors she’ll be facing at Vindication.
As Ricky & Charlie headed back up the aisle with smiles on their faces, Melody helped Goro & Blake back to their feet and the three stare at each other for a moment before the show cuts backstage.

The Swole Mates are standing by with Claire James as they’re asked about the announcement earlier that they’ll be competing in a fatal four way tag title match at Vindication. They say the name of the supershow seems apt, as that’ll be the night they’re vindicated for the way they feel about GBH being champions. Pattie takes special exception to Miss Fortune, saying that sooner or later she’ll realize that the threats they face are very real, before the interview turns to the match later tonight.
Pattie says she knows Ria has been on something of a tear lately, and has been spreading her wings to gain more and more experience. But The Swole Mates don’t back down from any challenge, so Ria can bring her best tonight!
Fatal Fourway Match
Jack Wilde vs. Punisher Bryce Robinson vs. Marc Cosmos vs. Rocky Rhodes
At best it could be described as a mess, at worst it would be a clusterfuck. Rocky Rhodes didn’t appear to be in any shape to wrestle as he lumbered through the match. After taking Wilde down with a sloppy fall forward slam, however, PBR decided to take care of Rocky. The Alaskan native delivered a thunderous lariat that knocked Rhodes through the ropes to the outside, and this match effectively became a triple threat match after that.
PBR controlled a large portion of the match as he used his size effectively. By the seventh minute, however, Wilde was beginning to pick up steam. A springboard forearm smash started the comeback as Wilde flew in from off the apron, before a handspring enziguiri knocked PBR back into the corner. From there, Jack Wilde was able to take the big man down with a tornado DDT, planting him head first on the mat.
Wilde went up top, looking to finish it off – when Cosmos pushed him off the top rope, all the way to the floor below! Marc Cosmos laughed maniacally as he watched Wilde plummet, before Cosmos entered the ring. He saw PBR getting up, and hit a Boma Ye knee strike to the back of the head before stealing the three count.
Winner: Marc Cosmos (8:09)
After the match, while Cosmos was celebrating, he saw Steffi Sparkles standing at the top of the aisle in much the same way that he did to her earlier in the night. Cosmos grabbed a microphone from Sunny Sykes at ringside, and told Sparkles that she’s looking at the future of SCCW. She might not agree with his methods, but they get results, and that’s what matters in this business. And that’s just a lesson that someone like Steffi Sparkles will have to learn sooner or later.
Previously Recorded…
The lights go out as on the screen a video begins to play. Neal Durden sits in front of a camera, wearing a Pendragon shirt and that usual quirky smile of his. He taps into the camera before he speaks.
Neal Durden: “Is this thing even on…”
Seemingly the person recording this, more than probable Lowri, tells him that in fact it is on, so he straightens himself up before speaking again.
Neal Durden: “So, Sussex! Here you finally have my ugly face.”
His smile widens.
Neal Durden: “But seriously, you all know why I’m recording this so I’ll cut to the chase. I’m honored to have been asked to face your very own Wally Lee in a match for the Hudson Cup. Much like Lowri did a couple of months back, I intend on winning said cup, not only because of what it represents, but also because… to me, winning that Cup, means I will be able to have something to remember the experience for the rest of my life.”
Neal put his right hand up.
Neal Durden: “And I know… I know… it won’t be an easy task. I’m not saying that by any stretch of imagination. I know Wally is a capable all around wrestler that has had many battles before the one we’ll have. In fact, he has traveled out of the US and is starting to not only make a name for himself, but actually earn his spot in the world of professional wrestling.”
A deep breath follows that last sentence, as Neal looks sideways before looking back at the camera.
Neal Durden: “I know Wally has some advantages over me, by virtue of being mostly a singles competitor, whereas I’m known mostly as a tag-team specialist. Yet, let that not deter from the fact that I’ve been able to take some of the biggest names in the industry to the brink of their abilities…”
His recent battles with Holly Chainsaw and Molly Reid linger in Neal’s mind. Matches in which he put everything he got, but, ultimately was defeated. A sigh escapes him.
Neal Durden: “One day, I see Wally getting to those same levels. But that day won’t come against me… Wally, look for every strategy around the globe, look for every trick book you can find. Try to garner as much info on me as you can, because once we step inside that ring. Once we’re Face to face… you’re gonna need every ounce of knowledge you might have, and more.
“I’ve seen you’ve grown confident over the past few months. I’ve seen you’ve grown cocky. But against me, you’re not going to be facing someone who’s just breaking out and starting to make a name for himself. No, Wally, against me you’re gonna have a man that’s willing and able to sacrifice every single bit of energy, if it helps him achieve a goal. I might’ve fallen short of beating the likes of Holly Chainsaw and Molly Reid, but even if they won’t ever acknowledge it, they know… they had to dig deep in their arsenal just to put me away. I’m relentless, I’m resilient and when we face each other for that Cup… you’re gonna see why, they called my name for this task… see you then, my friend.”
Singles Match
Pattie Pearce vs. Ria Escárcega
The match started early as Ria attacked her opponent as she entered the ring, stomping Pattie down before hitting a DDT. Escárcega tried several times in the first few minutes to end this one, but each time Pattie kicked out at two. One highlight came in the third minute when Ria hit a running crossbody to a seated Pattie, but still the diminutive dynamo kicked out.
By the fourth minute Pattie had found a way in. She managed to get her knees up as Ria went for a standing reverse somersault senton, before heading onto the apron. Pearce executed the springboard corkscrew roundhouse kick perfectly and dropped Escárcega. But the Costa Rican native kicked out at two. Pattie stayed on the attack, focusing on her strikes to try and wear Escárcega down; the forearms and elbows flew thick and fast, before a running dropkick sent Ria out through the ropes. That allowed Pattie to go high risk as she tried for the triangle asai moonsault, and took out Ria!
The momentum shifted a minute later though, when Ria got a big boot up in the corner to catch the charging Pattie square in the face. A diving bulldog followed shortly after as Ria tried to cover. But she could only get a two count. So she went on something of a blitz; the chops and kicks landed with venom, as did the snapmare into a soccer kick. This time the standing reverse somersault senton connected, but still Pattie kicked out at two. So Ria sent her opponent against the ropes, only for Pattie to come back with a pop-up flip piledriver out of nowhere! And that was enough to get her the three count!
Winner: Pattie Pearce (9:48)
Unfortunately for Pattie, she didn’t get to enjoy the moment for very long as the GBH members made their presence known. She spotted Harper coming, but could do nothing to stop Miss Fortune from clubbing her from behind. To the relief of many, Bricklyn Granger ran down the aisle to make the save, but not before GBH could hit the Assault & Battery (Aided Pop-Up Cutter) on Pattie Pearce.
They left The Swole Mates in the ring as GBH headed back up the aisle with their title belts in hand…when Adam & Chino came charging out and took GBH down from behind! That’s when Ricky & Charlie appeared, and suddenly we had a four team brawl break out. The wrestlers paired off and headed backstage or out through the crowd as Z’s music began to play.
Singles Match
Z vs. Ash Fi
Before his match, Z made a brief speech to address what Caintigern had to say last time. He blames Caintigern for Thunderbelly still being champion after Christmas Bash. He thinks she doesn’t deserve to be given chance after chance like she is – she had her shot after winning the Sloppy Joe Memorial Tournament and used it to cost Z the championship he deserves! That he’s worked for since day one! And instead she disappears and reappears, coming back to lay out Thunderbelly and Kickass Smurf and act like that warrants a title shot. Z is adamant that he’s a more deserving challenger, and he’ll prove it now…
With that Ash Fi made her way to the ring, for what could be her toughest match to date. The two wrestlers gave it everything they had. Ash Fi took the early lead, using her strikes to keep Z at a safe distance; the forearms and elbows were flying, but it was a bicycle shoot kick that caught the crowd’s attention in the second minute. A Western lariat a minute later scored her a two count, but Z soon turned things around.
A back body drop attempt got countered by a kneedrop facebuster, and Z suddenly had control. He worked the arm of his opponent, dropping knees and stomps down across it before applying a basic arm bar. Ash Fi tried to battle back, only to end up getting rammed shoulder first into the ring post. A minute later and Z managed to lock in a shirome armbar, only for Ash Fi to reach the bottom rope with her foot. With his opponent on the mat, Z took the opportunity to taunt her with a tranquilo pose.
Things heated up again soon after, though. Z tried for a sitout side slam, but Ash Fi elbowed her way out of trouble. She managed to counter with a short arm lariat, but Z somehow bounced back to his feet. So Ash dug deep for a spinning inverted waterwheel slam. But that still wasn’t enough. A few moments later and Ash set her opponent in the corner, and connected with the Ionsaí (Cornered Running Double Knee Strike). But still he kicked out.
A Warp Spasm (Over Shoulder Back Kick) connected in the twelfth minute, and Z appeared to be staggered in the center of the ring as Ash Fi ran against the ropes again – only to get caught with The Brute (STO) upon her return! Both competitors were down for a moment, before they went back to trading blows in the center of the ring. Z managed to block one, however, and counter into a cross armbreaker as Ash Fi looked to be in trouble.
She did manage to make it to the ropes though. Z tried to press the advantage, but soon after he got caught with a hiptoss backbreaker. That seemed to do some damage to the arm of Ash Fi, though, as did her Western lariat attempt. She persevered and fought through the pain, but another Irish whip just allowed Z to jump up around the back to lock in The Suicide (Double Arm Octopus Stretch). And Ash Fi had no choice but to tap out.
Winner: Z (16:32)
After the match, Z took a seat at the commentary table to await the next match as Ash Fi made her way backstage.
Backstage…
Thunderbelly can be seen with his SCCW Championship draped over one shoulder. He talks briefly about the attack he suffered last time at the hands of Caintigern, and promises the fans that he’ll avenge such injustices before long! Thunderbelly vows to be the champion of Sussex County and keep this title belt from the likes of Caintigern and Z, and other disreputable sorts.
That’s when Caintigern appeared, and attacked Thunderbelly from behind. She shoved him head first into the wall, flooring the champion as Caintigern continued to lay the boots in. While this was unfolding on the screens at ringside, however, Z realized he wasn’t going to get to see the main event match in the ring. He stormed backstage to see if he could find where the fight was happening.
Meanwhile Thunderbelly managed to get back into it after reversing an Irish whip, and he sent Caintigern crashing into a door. He charged at her with a shoulderblock and sent the both of them tumbling into a locker room as The Caffiends, PBR, and Rocky Rhodes all looked around in shock at what just happened. The champion managed to turn the brawl into more of a wrestling match, however, as he applied a giant swing to Caintigern; he even got several rotations in, before Z appeared with a chair in hand. He clocked Thunderbelly around the head not once, but twice. Sending the champion sprawling.
Caintigern managed to stand back up as Z continued to lay into the champion with kicks and stomps. As he turned around, however, Z had to use the chair to block a punch…that dented the chair. Z held the chair in shock as he looked over to see a pair of brass knucks on the fist of the Irish woman. The two seemed at a stalemate until Thunderbelly miraculously recovered and took them both down with a double clothesline!
And that’s when Ben Hanson appeared on the scene again. He ordered the four men – The Caffiends, PBR, and Rocky Rhodes – to restrain the three others as Hanson warned them that he wouldn’t tolerate brawls such as this on SCCW shows. But since Thunderbelly, Z, and Caintigern are all on a path of destruction, then Ben’s going to make a match for Vindication…
Thunderbelly vs. Z vs. Caintigern
In a steel cage!
With that, the show fades to the AxxessNet Logo.
