Ringside…
The show opened with Ben Hanson in the ring, speaking about the first year of SCCW. He thanks all the fans for their continued support, and for helping SCCW grow. Hanson says he’s proud of how far all the SCCW wrestlers have come this year, and he’s sure that tonight’s show will prove that. He then proceeds to give a brief rundown of the card, and thank all the WCS and FGA outsiders who have come in to wrestle in SCCW.
Hanson promises that next year will be even bigger and better, but before they can get there they have to have their Christmas Bash! He then left the ring with the crowd ready for the first match.
SCCW Tag Team Championship
Adam & Chino (c) vs. GBH
The first match certainly delivered in terms of action. The champions took the early lead, using their speed to catch GBH off guard. Chino in particular managed to catch Miss Fortune with some quick strikes; a handspring back elbow and the running corner step up kick landed among others, but after a few minutes Fortune managed to find a way back in, raking the eyes of Adam Dragomirov as he lifted her onto his shoulders before she pushed him into the corner.
GBH capitalized. They used quick tags to wear Dragomirov down. Harper pulling off a tornado DDT, Miss Fortune hitting a rope hung codebreaker, and GBH even coming together to drive Adam head first into the mat with an aided wheelbarrow DDT. But nothing could keep Adam down. Dragomirov nearly broke free, though. As the match ticked into the ninth minute he caught Harper with a big boot out of the corner, before dropping her with a swinging Michinoku driver. But Miss Fortune stopped him before he could make the tag, and dragged him away from the corner!
Dragomirov tried again a minute later, though, catching Harper with a spinebuster after reversing an Irish whip. This time he knocked Fortune off the apron, and made the much needed tag out to Chino Hills. Softcore entered the ring with a bang; Hill got caught by a shining wizard, before Miss Fortune got dropped by a standing double foot stomp. Adam even came back in so the champions could combine for a double vertical suplex, but Harper Hill kicked out at two.
The action spilled outside in the thirteenth minute. Miss Fortune rolled out under the bottom rope after finding herself on the receiving end of an Adam Dragomirov turnbuckle catapult. Chino took her down with a meteora off the apron, and soon enough all four wrestlers found themselves brawling around the ring. Unfortunately for them, Adam & Chino found themselves distracted by Sammie Rósza at ringside, which allowed GBH to catch Adam from behind and drive him into the steel steps. A brief double team of Chino ended with him being catapulted into the ring post, before the actions returned to the ring.
GBH came close with a couple of pin attempts; Harper hitting the "Poppy Plunge" (Ripcord Jumping Neckbreaker), and Miss Fortune dropping Chino with the Psycho Plex (Slingshot Suplex). But he kicked out at two. The challengers combined again for With Intent (Hart Attack), but this time Adam made the save. The champions started to rally back in the seventeenth minute, as Adam stormed the ring to catch Miss Fortune with the Mafia kick. They worked together to hit her with a Hip Toss (Adam) directly into Running Knee Lift to the spine (Chino), but that wasn’t enough for a cover. A minute later, however, Chino delivered the Arm Trap Swinging Vertical Suplex – but Sammie leapt up onto the apron to distract the referee before he could count. Harper entered the ring and caught Chino with a low blow, before hitting the "Maidstone Mayhem" (Rolling Cutter). She placed Miss Fortune on top of Chino and went to cut off Adam as the referee turned to see Fortune making the cover. And it was a three count!
Winners and NEW SCCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: GBH (18:02)
After the match, the new champions celebrated with Sammie and their belts in the aisle as, in the ring, Adam & Chino were left shocked and upset with the ending of the match. The referee assured them he didn’t see anything untoward, but they know they were robbed.
GBH continued to pose with their belts as the boos rained down. The three of them stood at the top of the aisle with their arms and titles raised up high as the show cut backstage.
Backstage…
We come to the backstage of the SCCW Arena. Claire James is in the back, hanging outside of the dressing room, with McKenna Kingsley standing alongside her. She tells the SCCW fans watching, that she has been waiting outside the door to get a word in with Wally Lee before his upcoming match against Punisher Bryce Robinson. McKenna tells her that Wally is just getting himself focused and ready. Claire asks McKenna about the possible jet lag Wally might be facing heading into the match, as he’s only a few hours apart from a flight from Newcastle back home to Sussex County. McKenna keeps a confident smile on her face as she looks over towards the locker room door. She says that behind that door is a man who will stop at nothing until everyone recognizes how talented he is. She says that jet lag is just an excuse, and she also adds that Wally is a world class athlete so he'll be fine out there.
Claire opens her mouth to speak, but she is cut off by the locker room door swinging open suddenly. The SCCW crowd cheers as they see Wally Lee stepping out of the doorway, still running tape around his fingers. He steps between Claire and McKenna with his game face on. He speaks calmly telling James that "He's ready now." James is ecstatic as she smiles widely while asking Wally about how he's feeling heading into his match only moments away. Wally says that he feels amazing. He says that he's happy he was able to make it back home in time to go through his usual match prep. Claire changes the subject next, mentioning that on social media as well on other programming Wally has made his decision to go after the Hudson Cup. She asks about who'd he want to face for the cup. Wally gives her a small grin having a few people in mind.
However, he responds telling Claire that who he wants to compete against in the future doesn't matter right now. He says that right now his sights are locked in on Punisher Bryce Robinson. Claire nods her head and quickly moves on, knowing that his match against the man was coming up shortly. She asks Wally for his prediction on what's going to happen out there. Wally rolls his neck trying to loosen up a bit. McKenna jumps right in answering for her fiancé. She says that the answer is obvious, Wally has proven that big or small, man or woman, he's going to bring the fight. She says that Bryce may hit hard, but he won't hit harder than Wally. She says that Bryce might be tough, but he won't outlast Wally. She finishes up saying that Bryce may think he's good... But Wally is so much better. Wally smiles at the hype being thrown his way. He and McKenna step forward to walk past Claire to head to the ring. But Wally stops just short of strolling by her, as he turns to look over his shoulder.
He says that she wanted his prediction. "I'm gonna beat his ass." Wally turns forward and continues on with McKenna by his side. They leave James by herself, she hypes up the match between Punisher Bryce Robinson and Wally Lee that was next on tonight's Christmas Bash. Slowly the camera fades away as we take it back to Ronie and Savage back at ringside.
Singles Match
Wally Lee vs. Punisher Bryce Robinson
Right from the start PBR used his massive weight advantage to his benefit. Wally came at the heavyweight with strikes from all directions, but Robinson took him down early on with a belly to belly suplex. The ribs were a target throughout as PBR followed up with a running splash in the corner, and a gutbuster. But Wally kept kicking out of every pin attempt.
PBR scored a near fall in the sixth minute after a Yokosuka cutter, but Wally threw his shoulder up at the last second. The crowd began rallying behing the Delaware native shortly after. And Wally managed to find an opening; a back body attempt by PBR got countered by a kneedrop facebuster, and Wally found himself some breathing space. The youngster managed to evade more of PBR’s attacks, before finally connecting with a nomisugi knee strike that knocked the big man out through the middle rope. From where Wally flew over the top rope with a handspring moonsault, but struggled to get PBR back into the ring to make the cover.
Robinson managed to get back into it, catching Wally off a crossbody block attempt as he dropped Lee with a fall forward slam. But the advantage didn’t last; PBR missed a corner running splash attempt in the tenth minute, and seemed to hit his head on the steel ring post. Wally managed to capitalize, hitting a Kotaru krusher that brought PBR crashing face first into the mat. As he got back up, PBR fell victim to the Bomb Voyage (Standing Sitout Shiranui) and a three count followed.
Winner: Wally Lee (10:07)
After the match, Wally celebrated on the turnbuckles as the crowd continued to cheer him on. But his celebrations were cut short by Murph B, who slid into the ring behind him and proceeded to lay out Wally Lee with the Rising Star title!
The cheers turned to boos as Murph brought Wally back to his feet and planted him with a powerbomb, before she stood over him and posed with her title belt.
Backstage…
As the camera cuts to backstage, Caintigern Magnum can be seen, her step daughter by her side kicking her legs innocently as she gives her an adorable little pep talk prior to her SCCW Title match against Z and the reigning champion Thunderbelly. The area is decorated just like Christmas, with lights and baubles and tinsel, and of course a huge Christmas Tree. Caintigern seems almost normal, chatting away playfully with the young girl, before the SCCW Interviewer, Claire James, comes into view. The aspiring interviewer seems shocked at how calm and chilled out Mrs. Magnum is around her stepdaughter, and it’s the first time the Irish firecracker has been seen when not screaming and shouting abuse at someone. Cait spots Claire, and the sweet smile she had on her face is replaced by a grimace. Caintigern turns to Pip, the child of Jackson Magnum, and tells her to run along as “Mummy has business to take care of.”
As soon as Pip is out of view, the Caintigern of old returns, as she lets out her abuse like machinegun fire, letting rip at James for interrupting her family time, before she rifles off with pot shots aimed at her fellow challenger Z and the ridiculous wannabe Viking champion, Thunderbelly. She states that Z, who she calls ‘Squiggle’, shouldn’t even be in the match as he wasn’t properly booked in it and it was she that earned to slot, not him. She then blasts Thunderbelly for being an underwhelming champion, that reminds the audience that she is the true driving force behind SCCW and that she is an international star, while Thunderbelly is just a fat Ikea salesman who has no place being the face of the company. She tells the audience, who may well not want to listen, but don’t have much choice anyway, that whilst all the fans, trainers and her fellow trainees here all laughed at her when she signed up, telling her that she couldn’t wrestle, that she had no place in the business and that she was only here because of who she was married to, she has silenced all of them. She states that she was always made for the main event and everyone else was just jealous of her, and they will be even more so when she becomes champion tonight. She knuckled down and trained hard to become the very best that SCCW not only has, but will ever have, and she will continue her family’s famous legacy by becoming the SCCW title holder tonight. And if anyone disagrees? Then the Drowned Goddess will cut their genitals off and feed them to the sea goats.
Singles Match
Romello Tyrell Judge vs. Rocky Rhodes
Romello Tyrell Judge fought with a renewed sense of vigor after losing out on that series of matches with Z. He pulled out all the stops, not allowing Rocky Rhodes room to breathe; the rope hung knee strike connected in the third minute, followed shortly thereafter by a bridging fallaway pumphandle slam. But Rocky managed to kick out of that.
Rhodes managed to find a way back into the match, though. A big boot out of the corner gave him the opening, and the eccentric veteran took full advantage. A suplex followed, as did a piledriver as Rocky tried to pin his opponent, only to get a two count each time. A thunderous lariat came close to ending the match, but RTJ kicked out at two again. After a few minutes of offense, Rocky slipped. A back body attempt got countered by a big time DDT, and RTJ followed that up shortly after with a piledriver of his own.
By the tenth minute, however, Rocky found himself on the receiving end of a crucifix cutter as RTJ showed off his strength. In an even more impressive display of his strength and ability, RTJ managed to take Rhodes down with a Croyt’s wrath a minute later, and that was enough to get the three count.
Winner: Romello Tyrell Judge (11:24)

The cameras open up on the office door of Ben Hanson, just as a fist lifts up to knock a couple of times. As the waiting time drags on, the camera slowly pans out, eventually revealing the leather-jacket-clad Z standing impatiently a few feet away, a cocky grin on his face.
“Hanson, open up,” he says through a shit-eating grin, as he casts a glance over his shoulder at the camera shaking his head. He knocks a couple more times, but there’s no answer yet again. So, he takes matters into his own hands, twisting the knob and pushing the door open with his foot as he leans on the frame, peering around. “Helloooo?”
There’s no response, and it’s clear to see why as the camera passes the threshold, revealing a room devoid of presence outside of Z’s. He sighs, shaking his head again as he steps in, glancing at papers on the desk and running his fingers across them before dropping down into the boss’s chair.
“I thought I’d stop in and gloat that despite his best efforts, I still managed to get my title shot,” Z smirks, locking his fingers behind his head before throwing his feet up onto Hanson’s desk with a smirk. “Tonight, I’m going to pick both of those clowns apart and walk out with my hand raised, the SCCW Championship around my waist. And Hanson’s going to be stuck with me as his new poster child. No matter how hard you try, you can’t shut me out. I’ll be proving it again tonight. And when I’m the champion, you can keep trying, but I’ll leave everybody you send lying at my feet. Because like I’ve said before, I’m the best this company has to offer.
“You should be honored to have me,” he smirks again, letting his eyes close as he smiles at the ceiling and the scene fades.
SCCW Rising Star Championship
Murph B (c) vs. Melody Marshall
Melody came into the match fired up, looking to seize the title opportunity that’s been presented to her. But Murph B had other ideas. Both competitors tussled in the early going, jockeying for position as Melody gained the upper hand. The rocker came out firing, scoring a near fall after a Yakuza kick in the third minute. A single leg dropkick followed, and Murph B had to roll out of the ring to escape another pin attempt.
On the outside, the champion managed to turn the tide as she caught Melody with a drop toe hold into the steel steps. For a few minutes the champion remained in control; she targeted the arms to prevent Melody’s strong strikes, using armbreakers and armbars to wear the challenger down. The fifth minute rolled around and Melody got sent shoulder first into the ring post. But she stayed in it, even after a stalling release powerbomb in the seventh minute.
Murph started to show her frustrations as her opponent kept kicking out of everything. And she got sloppy. A corner running step up kick in the ninth minute missed, and Murph ended up in a precarious place on the top rope as Melody unloaded with a series of kicks. Marshall followed that up with some suplexes, and a vicious looking lariat. But she took too long nursing her shoulder to get a three count. Marshall stayed on her opponent, using shoot kicks and forearm strikes to wear the champion down, scoring another two count off a Yakuza kick along the way. A shining wizard in the thirteenth minute gave Melody a near fall, but Murph kicked out.
A few minutes later and it looked like Melody went to the well one too many times. A shining wizard attempt got countered by a powerbomb, and Murph was able to throw her opponent into the turnbuckle. That was followed by an over the shoulder back kick, and the champion looked set to end things…until Wally Lee appeared at ringside. He jumped up onto the apron and Murph lunged at him. But he dropped down to safety as Melody snuck up behind the champion to roll her up with a schoolboy for the shock three count!
Winner and NEW SCCW RISING STAR CHAMPION: Melody Marshall (15:49)
After the match, Murph B chased Wally Lee back up the aisle, leaving Melody alone in the ring to celebrate her title victory. The crowd cheered her on as Melody posed on the turnbuckle, and raised the devil horns symbol.
