The former Rising Star champion, Dickie Harter is standing with Claire James, and he can be seen sporting an ‘Anniemaniacs’ t-shirt. The conversation starts about how Dickie feels in regards to Sammie Rósza costing him the title that Murph B now holds, which unsurprisingly, Dickie isn’t too happy about. He expresses his dismay that Sammie chose to align herself with GBH, saying they’ve been a bad influence on his former friend. But while Dickie is surprised Sammie did that, and cost him the Rising Star title…he can’t believe she’d go so far as to cost him a shot at the Hudson Cup.
But Dickie has seen what Sammie has done earlier, and he warns her to stay away from his match tonight because these two Delaware boys are going to put on a treat for the SCCW fans! When, suddenly, Murph B appears on the scene with the Rising Star title draped over one shoulder. She tells Dickie that he lost his title, and he should just accept that. She’s got other contenders lined up – which prompts Claire to interrupt and enquire about Madison Bennett and the attack she suffered at the hand of Brutus on the last show….
But Murph just looks at her, and tells Claire to keep the interview about Murph, thank you very much! She continues by addressing Dickie once more, telling him that his friend probably betrayed him because he’s not who he claims to be. Because he’s not who the fans think he is. And he’s definitely not someone who deserves another shot at the Rising Star title, so Dickie can get those thoughts out of his mind. He can run along and face the likes of Wally Lee, or whatever stupid name he has, because Murph has a main event match to focus on, and a win over the SCCW champion in on the cards tonight!
Singles Match
Dickie Harter vs. Wally Lee
This match begins with a show of respect between the two Delaware boys. There’s a big match feel buzzing around the SCCW crowd as the former rising star champion squares off against a man who’s yet to taste defeat in SCCW. The match begins with a frenetic pace. Wally and Dickie are rocketing right out the gate trying to land some big time moves right in the early minutes of the match. Wally is able to hit Harter with a running dropkick that doubles Dickie over. Wally tries to end things early jumping behind Dickie looking for his Kotaro Krusher! Dickie is able to roll forward out of the way. The two give each other a stare at opposite ends as the crowd cheers on the efforts of both competitors. A shotgun dropkick to the corner knocks Wally bouncing from the corner and on the mat. Dickie is begging for Wally in the corner before she shoots out looking for his Killshot!
Wally is able to catch the knee instead and swing in an arm drag-like fashion. Using Dickie’s sprinting momentum against him he is able to toss Harter under the middle rope and outside the ring with a crash. The crowd cheers as Dickie gets right back up and slides into the ring. Both men continue to battle but neither man able to get the advantage in this highly competitive match. Colliding against each other as both men go for running clotheslines, Dickie and Wally are laid out in the middle of the ring. The crowd boos as Sammie rushes down the entrance ramp from the back armed with a steel chair.
She makes a “batter up” warm up swing as the official is screaming for her to leave the ring. She ignores him as Dickie and Wally slowly get to their feet. She yells as she runs to take Dickie’s head off with a swing. Harter ducks down and Wally unfortunately is at the wrong place a the wrong time as he eats a chair shot to the head. The match ends right there prompting the bell to ring.
Winner: Wally Lee (9:59)
Sammy doesn’t look fazed as she tries to go two-for-two loading up for another swing at Dickie. Harter however is able to catch her with the Killshot right as she was lifting the chair! Driving the steel into her own face! Sammie rolls out of the ring and tries to scramble back up the ramp! She’s a little woozy from the chair and stumbles a few times before she is able to make it back to the back. Inside the ring Dickie shakes his head and helps Wally to his feet. The two men embrace in a side hug and a nod of mutual respect before they make their rounds in the ring thanking the SCCW fans and being thanked in return.

We see Adam Dragomirov & Chino Hills for the second time of the evening. Chino seems amped, completely ready for competition… but Dragomirov is smirking at a text in the background, leaning against the wall, detached from the interview at hand. Chino shoots a glance in his direction and sighs, but as we pan out we see Claire James standing by, prepared to conduct an interview.
James asks if Chino feels that he and Adam have lost some footing since becoming the number one contenders for the Tag Team Championships. She mentions that they’ve gone radio silent since then and haven’t been seen at the local gyms and in training sessions as often. Chino mentions that he’s been busy with both television and photography, but that he’s dedicating every bit of free time to SCCW. James asks Adam if he’s putting in the same work, which Adam doesn’t seem to acknowledge at first before raising his gaze to the camera and then at James once he realizes he’s being spoken to-- mumbling an “oh-- what? Yeah.” He flashes a wink at the camera and then returns to his phone as we pan away from him.
“Adam’s been a little busy too,” Chino adds, “but not too busy for the Caffiends. And not too busy to become your new Tag Team Champions. We may not have been able to cross over and snatch SAP gold, but we know what we signed up for nine months ago when we got here. We know our destiny, Claire… and those Tag Team Titles are so beautiful.” He sighs, longingly, face devolving into a glare. “And right now, Dewey Dresden is hella in the way.” A determined look, Chino turns back to Adam who lowers his phone and gives his partner a nod, following him toward gorilla.
Singles Match
Dewey Dresden (w/ Sullivan Pibb) vs. Chino Hills (w/ Adam Dragomirov)
Chino Hills came out firing on all cylinders as he took the fight to one half of the tag champions. The cartwheel back elbow in the corner, the standing double foot stomp, the shining wizard. But Dresden kept kicking out at two. In the fifth minute, however, Dewey made an opening for himself. With Chino charging in, Dresden sent him high into the air for a pop-up gutbuster as Chino came down across his knees.
From there, Dresden was able to maintain control, using his size and strength to his advantage. Some vicious European uppercuts connected, as did a backbreaker and a spear as Dewey tried to focus his attacks. But nothing could keep Chino down. So Dewey took it up a notch; a Code Red {cobra clutch backbreaker) connected, but still Chino kicked out at two! The frustration was growing in Dresden as he sent Hills towards the corner and charged in after him – NO! Chino dodged the attack, and Dewey hit the turnbuckle with force. From there, Chino landed the corner running step up kick, and a rope walk meteora. Soon after, Chino leapt up for a hurricanrana into a pin attempt; he managed to get a two count before Sullivan leant into the ring to push Chino backwards, allowing Dewey to counter into a pin attempt of his own – and the three count!
Winner: Dewey Dresden (10:34)
After the match, The Caffiends celebrated in the aisle with their tag titles as Adam & Chino stood in the ring; they tried to explain to the referee what happened, but the official said he can’t reverse a decision. Instead, they were left to glare at the champions who held the belts aloft.
Ringside…
We head back to the ring as “Fire” by Jimi Hendrix plays once again throughout the high school’s PA system. He’s got his head wrapped as a precaution from the chair shot he took earlier in the night at the hands of Sammie. He has a focused look on his face as he unstraps one of the shoulder buckles to his wrestling dungarees.
He makes it into the ring and calls for his music to get cut. Wally says that even though he didn’t like how his match ended tonight, he remains undefeated and unblemished in SCCW. He says that it wasn’t too long ago that he was in this very gym playing basketball for Cape Henlopen! This gets loud round of cheers from the locals as Wally continues on. He says that he never thought that within a short matter of time, that he’d be standing in this same place living his dream of being a professional wrestler. He paces around the ring speaking from the heart as he continues on.
He goes on to say that the SCCW fans make it easy for him. He says with the exception of Dickie, every match feels like he has home field advantage. He says that a its the SCCW fans that keep him going. Its the SCCW fans that keep him hungry. Its the SCCW fans that allow him to… rise. He has a twinkle in his eye pausing after his final word of rise. He lets the moment sink in before bringing the microphone back up.
He says that without a doubt the real rising star of SCCW has been himself. He gives credit to a lot of other’s who have been wrestling their asses off, but he says when it comes down to it he’s going to be the one to take SCCW to the next level. He says that Murph B has managed to weasel her way into opportunities, matches, and now even a title. “No more.” he says. He continues saying that this company is his home, and her will not have his abode tainted by the actions of someone who doesn’t respect this place.
He says that Murph only respects herself. But he continues to say that she better quickly check herself, because soon enough she’ll wiggity-wiggity-wreck herself. And Wally would be the man to do it. Wally stands tall in the ring as we fade out.
Backstage…
We're brought backstage, welcomed with the sight of the SCCW Champion, Thunderbelly, Championship belt comfortably rested upon his shoulder as he spoke to the viewing audience. The Storm Bearer remarked it was the first opportunity he has had to speak to the good people of Sussex since he had become their Champion, and wants everyone watching to realize that the image of him with SCCW's top prize is the proof of his vows. To protect those within the County of Sussex, and to vanish any foul beings who dare tamper with it's peace. He goes on to remark on how his old foe, Brutus, challenged his ability to protect last Sunday Night Slam.
The cowardly attack on his partner tonight, Madison Bennett, by Brutus was utterly unacceptable. While he wasn't schedules to compete that ight, he shudders to think what may have happened had he not been there either. He had made a mistake, however. It was his mistake to assume that after vanquishing Brutus for SCCW's coveted Championship Belt, the Demon would simply slink into the darkness from wench it came. He had thought Brutus truly fallen. It became obvious to him that Brutus was more than just a foul spirit, or even a Demon as he claims to be. Brutus was a living plague that would haunt the domain of Sussex as long as he is allowed, and until The Storm Bearer arrived, that reign had gone unchallenged. It was obvious now that putting Brutus down once simply won't be enough.
While their mutual enemy in The Demon was a strong enough tie to warrant Thunderbelly and Madison to join forces, The Storm Bearer also recognized Bennett's own quarrels with Murph B over the Rising Star Championship. It would please Thunderbelly to no end to see another Championship wrangled out of the hands of one so wicked as well, and on this night, Thunderbelly and Madison wold not simply ride together as allies against a common foe, but allies against the evil dregs that threaten Sussex County as a whole! Tonight, they ride as warriors of Justice against the wicked! And tonight, Justice shall strike true!

Tag Team Match
Thunderbelly & Madison Bennett vs. Brutus & Murph B
The match started with the two Rising Star competitors facing off as Madison took the early lead. Eager to make up for what happened on the last show, she was on fire! Figuratively speaking. Her kicks had Murph on the back foot; a vicious roundhouse kick knocked the Rising Star champ on her ass, allowing Madison to follow up with a rope leaned basement lariat. But the pin attempt could only score a two count.
Murph did manage to create an opening, countering an Irish whip to the corner with a big boot – before she dashed across to tag in Brutus. The former SCCW champion didn’t seem to react, but eventually got in the ring as Bennett tried her best not to look worried. Fortunately for her, Thunderbelly called out for the tag – and he got it!
The two men collided in the center of the ring, both throwing punches as Thunderbelly managed to get the upper hand somehow. He backed Brutus against the ropes before going for the Irish whip, and Thunderbelly hit a big axe bomber. And a big boot! He even got Brutus up for an airplane spin, but the demon fought his way out of that with elbows to the face. Brutus took the champion down with a powerslam shortly thereafter, and Murph blindly tagged herself in, much to Brutus’ chagrin!
He tried to keep fighting, but the referee ordered Brutus out of the ring. Instead Brutus pushed the referee aside and went after Thunderbelly again, only for Madison Bennett to stagger the big man with a missile dropkick! Murph tried to sneak attack the champion, but Thunderbelly caught her with a double leg takedown and a giant swing – much to the delight of the fans! With the Rising Star champion incapacitated, Thunderbelly and Madison double teamed Brutus, hitting a double suplex…
But the demon sat right back. Both opponents charged him, so Brutus caught them both around the throat and delivered dual chokeslams. But the bell was already sounding for a disqualification.
Winners: Thunderbelly & Madison Bennett (11:36)
After the match, Murph tried to celebrate with her ‘partner’ but Brutus turned on her, and dropped Murph with a chokeslam just the same as their opponents. The show came to an end with Brutus standing tall in the center of the ring, as she shot fire up from each of the turnbuckles. And we fade out to the Axxess Network logo.
