Bio:
Born into a comfortable living in Yamaguchi Prefecture of Japan, Goro grew up with a fascination with combat sports, and claims to have made up his mind at an early age what his path in life would be. Goro began amateur wrestling at the age of 8, which carried him all the way through school. Once graduating, Goro went on to wrestle while in college, and attempted to represent Japan in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, but failed to place.
After failing to place in the Olympics, much to the chagrin of his parents, Goro dropped out of college to pursue a career in Professional Wrestling. After finding a local promotion in Yamaguchi, Matsunaga ended up training for a year and a half before finally debuting. Bad luck struck again for the young man as shortly after his debut, the regional promotion closed it's doors.
Now without a home promotion, Goro went a more drastic route: to move to America where the wrestling was plentiful. After taking a little over a year to get his ducks in a row to finally be able to move across the globe, Goro finally found a promotion he hopes to finally call home in Sussex, Delaware.
