Sloppy Joe Memorial Tournament Semi Final
Singles Match
Z vs. Iwan Christ
The match started early as Z attacked his opponent during his entrance, knocking Iwan off the apron with a running dropkick. From there they brawled around the outside for a few moments, with Christ taking some notes. But nothing that could keep him down for the three. By the fourth minute Iwan looked to have found an opening; he hit the pop up Gory bomb off a countered Irish whip, followed by a bulldog, and the kneedrop facebuster. But Z kept kicking out. And he even rallied back after Iwan took too long taunting Z, causing him to miss a corner splash! He did manage to land on the ropes, however, but from there Z was able to lift him up for the crucifix cutter. From there, Z pressed his advantage; The Justice (Rapid Chops) and a turnbuckle catapult both seemed to have a serious effect on Christ, but he wasn’t to be deterred. After his opponent kicked out of the penalty kick, however, Z had some harsh words for the referee telling him that there’s no wonder Z was brought in to be a referee when he obviously can’t count to three. That argument just allowed Iwan to roll Z up with a schoolboy for a relatively quick three count.
Winner: Iwan Christ: (9:03)

Singles Match
Caintigern vs. Ash Fi
The Welshwoman battled bravely early on. Lariats flew from every direction to knock Caintigern for a loop, before a well timed spinning inverted waterwheel slam earned Ash Fi a two count. But Caintigern is crafty; a well placed eye gouge stopped Ash Fi in her tracks, and allowed the Irishwoman to get back into it. She used her strikes again, the running double knee strike, the short arm lariat, and the triangle knee strike all connected. But they weren’t enough, and the momentum changed on a dime when Ash Fi countered the Silver Spear and Tonic (Rolling Spear) attempt! A double arm DDT followed, as did an inverted headlock backbreaker and Caintigern looked to be in trouble again. The strikes continued as Ash Fi tried to press her advantage, finally knocking Cait down with a vicious Western lariat. But her attention was soon drawn to Cordozar Parrish who appeared in the aisleway. Ash Fi told him to piss off backstage, but when she turned around Caintigern drilled her with the Silver Spear and Tonic (Rolling Spear). A rollup and a handful of tights allowed Caintigern to pick up the three count.
Winner: Caintigern (9:25)
After the match, Ash Fi glared at Cordozar Parrish, who was sarcastically applauding her losing effort as Caintigern stormed past him.

The members of GBH, Harper Hill and Miss Fortune, are standing with Claire James. They’re talking about what an opportunity they have ahead of them. In recent months they’ve managed to pick up two victories over The Caffiends, most recently at the SAP show in Dover, so they know they have what it takes. So soon SCCW will see new tag champions…
SCCW Tag Team Championship
Tag Team Match
The Caffiends (c) vs. GBH
The match started with a staredown as all four wrestlers stood in the ring. GBH giving it all the talk, before The Caffiends started the brawl! The two men get the upper hand early on, backing both Harper and Miss Fortune into opposite corners as they unleash a barrage of forearms and elbow strikes. Irish whips follow, and the GBH members bump heads in the center of the ring, before getting sand wiched by clotheslines!
After that, The Caffiends isolated Miss Fortune, wearing her down with slams and suplexes. A double team back suplex/neckbreaker combo scored them a two count. But the lead didn’t last for long. Miss Fortune countered a running clothesline with a drop toe hold, slamming Dewey face first into the turnbuckle. A quick tag out and GBH hit simultaneous dropkicks. From there, Harper Hill was able to score a near fall after a penalty kick, and a low angle headscissor driver. But Dewey stayed in there. Miss Fortune had a turn, hitting a rolling elbow and turnbuckle catapult among other moves. Nothing that could score a three count though.
GBH teamed up for a diving headbutt to the groin, but their lead didn’t last for long. Dewey got out of the way of a Harper Hill cartwheel back elbow, before taking her down with a huge spinebuster. He needed to make the tag out … and would have done so if Miss Fortune hadn’t distracted the referee. But Harper was able to make the tag as she went for the bronco buster – NO! Dewey caught her and countered with a huge powerbomb after standing back up!
Sullivan Pibb finally got back into the match as he entered the ring like a house on fire! Harper got caught by a suplex. MF got dropped with a powerbomb. Harper got drilled with the spinebuster, before finally Sullivan hit Miss Fortune with a DDT … only to score a two count! The Caffiends combined to deliver Schweppet (Russian Legsweep/Backbreaker combo) but Harper made the save.
Hill did manage to get her team back in the match after catching Sullivan with a knee to the back as he ran against the ropes. He charged at her after, only to get dropped throat first across the top rope before MF hit a cutter! But she was slow to cover, and was only to get a two count. GBH pressed the advantage again, using quick tags to wear Sullivan down, culminating in them hitting With Intent (Hart Attack). But Dewey broke up the cover. Harper managed to hit "Maidstone Mayhem" (Rolling Cutter), but again Dewey made the save. So MF followed up with another cutter, and again Dewey made the save. So GBH attacked him.
Harper charged in and got caught by a big boot. Miss Fortune tried her luck, only to get caught by a belly-to-belly suplex. Harper got back to her feet in time to eat a spear from the 270 pounder! But it was Miss Fortune who thought she’d got one over on Dewey as she leapt up for a hurricanrana … only to get caught. The Caffiends countered with the Live Wire Ride (powerbomb/neckbreaker combo) and Sullivan covered MF for the three count!
Winners and STILL SCCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: The Caffiends (18:31)
After the match, The Caffiends celebrated in the aisleway as GBH eventually came to inside the ring. The two teams had another stare down, but it was The Caffiends who held the belts high above their heads at the end.
Ringside…
Ben Hanson made his way down to the ring with the trophy for the Sloppy Joe Memorial Tournament, featuring a gold statuette of the man himself on top. He announces that the final is up next, and the winner will be crowned the winner of the first ever Sloppy Joe Memorial Tournament, and receive a future shot at the SCCW Championship.
All of that seems agreeable to that before Hanson takes his place on commentary, allowing Iwan Christ and Caintigern to make their entrances.
Sloppy Joe Memorial Tournament Final
Singles Match
Iwan Christ vs. Caintigern
The match started with another stare down as both wrestlers faced off in the center of the ring. Caintigern did most of the trash talking, so it was up to Iwan to start the fight as he fired off several right hands! He managed to knock the Irishwoman out of the ring with a clothesline, and followed that up with a rarely seen suicide dive, drawing a large cheer from the crowd.
The fans were behind Christ all the way through the match, but he was out of his element on the outside of the ring. Caintigern got rolled back into the ring, only to knock Iwan off the apron with a knee to the face. On the outside she used the guard rail and ring steps to her advantage, before dropping Iwan with a spinning headlock elbow drop on the outside. But all of that could only score her a two count when the action entered the ring.
Caintigern pressed her advantage in the early moments, using chokes between her strikes to try and wear Iwan down. She taunted the crowd regularly, usually whilst treading the sole of her boot across Iwan’s face, drawing loud boos from the fans. She even scored a nearfall after a short arm lariat, before the fight back started. Christ made himself an opening after countering an Irish whip with a leg lariat, before buying more time with a shining wizard out of nowhere.
Christ scored a couple of near falls over the next few minutes; DDTs and suplexes hit their mark, but nothing could keep the Drowned Goddess down for the three. By the ninth minute, Iwan was growing desperate as dropped Caintigern with a running kneedrop facebuster near the corner. He followed that up with a moonsault double foot stomp, and some fans thought that might be enough … but Caintigern kicked out at two. So Iwan kept going. An enziguiri connected. A double arm DDT connected. But she got her feet on the ropes in the nick of time.
The desperation was beginning to show as Iwan sent his opponent towards the corner, but Caintigern got the boot up as he charged in. He tried again, but Cait ran against the ropes and came back with the Silver Spear and Tonic to take the wind right out of his sails! Over the next few minutes the crowd had to endure watching Christ get cheap shotted and choked, before getting dropped with the Jawbox Gin (Boma Ye). But only for a two count!
The fifteenth minute rolled around and Cait had her opponent set up for the Blackwater No. 5 (Tiger Feint Kick) – NO! Iwan Christ caught her legs and dragged her into the ring. A catapult sent Cait hurtling towards the corner, before she staggered back into a back suplex! Both competitors were down for a moment, but it was Iwan who struck first as he leapt up with a dropkick – sending Cait back into the referee! The official went down as Iwan soon hit Cait with another pop up Gory bomb, before setting her up for a double arm DDT!
NO!
She dropped to one knee and delivered a low blow, forcing Iwan down to his knees. That’s when Caintigern pulled the brass knucks out of her boot and delivered an aided Brass Magnum (Superman Punch), pocketing the knucks before the referee came to, just in time to count the three.
Winner: Caintigern (17:28)
After the match, Ben Hanson begrudgingly handed the trophy over to Caintigern as the crowd continued to boo the Irishwoman. But she celebrated all the way backstage, pointing at the trophy as she proclaimed herself to be the next SCCW Champion! Back in the ring, Ben helped Iwan back to his feet and lead the crowd in giving the rookie a round of applause for his efforts tonight.

"FAR TOO LONG HAVE THE WICKED WALKED THESE LANDS UNOPPOSED!"
The Asgardian Amphibian's booming, noble voice rang out, echoing down the barren hallways of the SCCW Arena, once again speaking directly to the viewers. Thunderbelly began to regale the audience with tales of conquest from years long past. From defending the gates of Asgaard against the vicious vargr that beckoned at Fenrir's call. To hallowing out entire Mountains in Jotunheim of the horrendous Trolls that plagued them, and even witnessing the mighty Midgaard Serpent, Jormungandr, clash with the true God of Thunder himself. Midgaard itself had even offered the challenge of horrible, twisted beings, all be they in the shape of man, prove themselves worthy adversary. But, before the 11th of June, he could not claim he had met with the likes of a Demon. And, on that day, he learned why the very word could strike fear into a man's heart. While he may not have bested every opponent he has faced, none other had bested him quite like Brutus had. The very same could be said for Sussex County as a whole.
Thunderbelly went on to proclaim that the shadow Brutus has cast over Sussex County will be brought to it's end, and those who walk a wicked path will meet their end as well. Thunderbelly admits his previous short comings. His short coming against Harper Hill. How he was unable to vanquish Brutus in their first meeting.
"But, as the Storm has churned, it has grown stronger."
Finally lifting his hammer into view, The Storm Bearer claimed that in their last encounter, The Demon had finally felt a force to match his own. And, now, on this night, he shall encounter a force that will surpass his.
"Forsetti beckons, Brutus."

SCCW Championship
Brutus (c) vs. Thunderbelly
The match started with the two men trading blows in the center of the ring as Brutus struggled to control his anger. The champion managed to overpower Thunderbelly, backing him into the corner as shoulder thrusts and forearm strikes wore the masked man down. An Irish whip sent Thunderbelly from pillar to post, followed closely behind by Brutus who hit a running splash before going for the first cover of the match, which got him a two count.
Brutus dropped a few elbows down across his opponent’s chest as the crowd continued to boo. But it wasn’t long before Thunderbelly started the fight back. A countered Irish whip allowed him to hit the Thunderclap (Running Palm Strike), but Brutus didn’t seem overly affected by it. So Thunderbelly tried for a running European uppercut, but that didn’t seem to faze the champion. Unfortunately for Thunderbelly he tried again, and got caught by an overhead belly to belly suplex!
The Storm Bearer was sent out of the ring under the bottom rope, as Brutus followed. An Irish whip sent Thunderbelly shoulder first into the ring steps – NO! It was reversed and Brutus hit the steps. The demon stood back up, only to get dropped throat first across the guard rail. The action re-entered the ring as Thunderbelly continued, hitting Brutus with all the strikes he knows, finishing with an axe bomber! But he could only get a two count.
The match entered the seventh minute as Thundebelly decided to pull out the big guns. A uranage backbreaker connected, but that wasn’t enough to score a three count. Neither was the Thunderstruck (Swinging Sideslam Backbreaker) that followed soon after. The frustration was beginning to show as Thunderbelly took a rare trip to the top rope, only for Brutus to recover. He caught his opponent on the turnbuckle, peppering Thunderbelly with right hands before following up with a superplex! After that Brutus showed his strength as he threw Thunderbelly around the ring with German suplexes, and overhead belly to belly suplexes. It culminated in a powerslam in the tenth minute, but Thunderbelly kicked out in the nick of time.
The crowd were rallying behind The Storm Bearer as he kicked out of a powerbomb in the eleventh minute, causing Brutus to take his eyes off his opponent. The demon seemed to be getting distracted as he lifted Thunderbelly up for another powerbomb – NO! The Storm Bearer fought back with hard right hands, before countering with a hurricanrana! That sent Brutus head first into the turnbuckle, before Thunderbelly pulled off an airplane spin … until Brutus blocked it with elbows to the face.
Brutus charged in with a lariat, only to see Thunderbelly duck and counter with the Green Power Thunderbomb (Blue Thunderpowerbomb) for a two count! Another Thunderstruck followed, and Thunderbelly signalled for the end. He managed to lift Brutus up onto his shoulders for Forseti's Axe (Axe Guillotine Driver) before covering…
But Brutus kicked out at two!
Thunderbelly couldn’t quite believe it, so he tried again … only for Brutus to block the move. Thunderbelly found himself in a standing headscissor as Brutus lifted him up for a piledriver!
NO! Thunderbelly kicked his legs and managed to reverse the piledriver attempt into another Forseti’s Axe! And the hook of the leg got Thunderbelly a three count, before the crowd erupted into cheers!
Winner and NEW SCCW CHAMPION: Thunderbelly (15:47)
After the match, Thunderbelly celebrated with his newly won title on the turnbuckles as the crowd continued to cheer, and the show came to a close with the AxxessNet logo.
