Personality:
Ferris is, and always has been, an entertainer. He loves attention and having platforms to express himself to the masses. He’s really into the occult and randomly start talking about otherworldly things completely unprovoked. He’s flamboyant, sexually ambiguous, and probably best taken in small doses.
Strengths:
-Psychology: For starters, he has a degree in psychology, but the way he applies this knowledge makes Ferris quite a formidable opponent in the ring. From the way that he dresses, to the way that he walks, sensually caressing an opponent’s chest, Ferris will get inside of his opponent’s head.
-What the fuck are morals when comes to combat?: Ferris doesn’t pretend to be something he’s not. He wants to win matches because it means more fame and fortune. Sometimes you have to bend, or outright break the rules, to do that. It just so happens that he does this more than sometimes. Ferris is a cheater. In the ring, in school, and in life. This has cost him big in the past, but his successes made it worth it to him. Add to that that Ferris just isn’t that good of a wrestler at this point, so he has to overcompensate by cheating.
-His ability to overcome adversity: Ferris has been through so much in his life, good and bad, but at the end of the day he’ll always come out on the other side of it all the same: Ferris Serratos. His confidence in himself, the willingness to always bet on himself, is what keeps Ferris trucking ahead in life. He feels that every setback can be overcome and every victory could have been better. He’s a perfectionist.
Weaknesses:
-Not very strong: Ferris is about as strong as the average job who only lifts weights to maintain a lean physique. This generally puts him in the lower tier of strength among his peers and why generally stays away from attempting throws or powermoves. This lack of strength also gives him less knockout power. A lack of impact moves and knockout power makes it very difficult for him to close matches without underhanded tactics.
-Average athleticism: Ferris just isn’t going to be blowing many people way with flips or fancy reversals. He’s quite underwhelming in the ring when compared to his peers.
-Cheats way too much to overcompensate and risks losing matches by DQ way too often.
Gimmick:
Martial Arts
Bio:
Ferris has always had a penchant for entertainment. His mother taught him to sing and play the piano starting at age three. He started acting in plays and doing commercials at four. His androgynous lifestyle began after landed the role of Belle in his third grade’s production of Beauty and the Beast. He went on to attend the University of Georgia when he was a member of the band playing keyboard, and french horn. He graduated from the school with a degree in Psychology. During his college years he supported himself by acting, modelling, wrestling, cage fighting, and providing vocals on a few indy projects. He was the frontman of the indie band “Stella’s Masquerade” releasing one EP through an independent label. He was enjoying great success financially and personally during this time. He had developed a small following of fans and his name was beginning to be shopped around the proper circles. Unfortunately, when he was twenty-four he was charged with two counts of failure to file income tax and served two years in prison.
Ferris has always been a fan of fighting. After graduating from high school he took a semester off to learn the craft of combat. He fought in his first cage match at nineteen in a losing effort. While in prison, he participated in some prison fights to very little success record wise, but earned the praise and respect of his fellow inmates with his charisma, heart, and antics during fights. Everyone wanted to see what he would do, they didn’t care if he won or loss. When he got out of prison he found that many of his fans had been supporting him the entire time and were eagerly waiting to here what his plans were. He announced that he would be primarily focusing on a wrestling career, but he would also still be doing music and acting on the side.
